CRAC unit replacement
Within the live data hall 5 No Liebert / Hiross twin circuit downflow units were decommissioned and removed from site in phased programme to maintain cooling within the data hall.
5 No HiRef NADR 0902 downflow units operating on R410A refrigerant were installed complete with new external condensers. Each unit comes complete with 2No inverter driven scroll compressors (1 No per circuit) and variable speed fans. The existing refrigeration pipework has been removed and 10 No new circuits of refrigeration pipework have been installed.
The existing raised floor system has been modified to suit the new floor stands for the HiRef units.
