The projects team have been up against a very tight timescale in decommissioning an existing chiller, providing a temporary chiller with connections in preparation for a free issue chiller by the client.
The works involved;
Drain down Existing chiller and remove existing pipework.
Disconnect existing 240 mm SWA cable feeding the chiller and pull cable back through the chiller.
Terminate SWA cable into 630amp IP65 Rated isolator.
Remove bird netting.
Crane off old Carrier Chiller and dispose of chiller issuing waste transfer notes.
Crane up temporary Watkins chiller.
Supply and install mild steel red band 6”- 4” reducing spools.
Connect free issue 4” PN16 flanged temporary hoses to chiller and refill system.
Connect free issue power cables from chiller to new isolator.
Next stage is the new chiller install………………..
