Replacement Chillers & Pumps including full flush and commissioning
AES Maintenance Ltd were asked to carry out the install of two 1.4 MW free issued chillers up into a purpose made enclosure and then to design and install the primary circuit pipework including pressurisation units and pumps, we also commissioned and connected to site BMS and commission into service whilst in a live hospital.
The Project included the following:
- Organising and managing five crane lifts throughout the project.
- Installing primary pipework with ability to bypass and isolate each chiller as required.
- Installing associated plant i.e. pressurisation unit and auto air vent, and side stream filter to suit.
- Install new primary pumps & secondary pumps (inverter driven to increase energy efficiency)
- Setting up flow rates on each secondary circuits to suit new system.
- Flushing and dosing CHW to specified ACoP (L8) requirements.
- Installing trace heating, vapor sealed then lagged throughout.
- Connecting new chillers, inverter pumps, auto air vent and pressurisation unit to BMS.
